CAUTION:
do not use this
appliance near a bath or any
other receptacle with water in it.
• If the appliance is used in a
bathroom, unplug it after use.
Using the appliance near a source
of water may be dangerous,
even if the appliance is
unplugged. For greater safety,
we recommend using a residual
current device (RCD) with a
tripping current of not more than
30mA. Ask your electrician for
advice.
• Do not immerse the appliance
in water or any other liquid.
•
Stop using the appliance
immediately if the cord is
damaged. The cord must be
replaced by the manufacturer,
its after sales service or a sim-
ilarly qualified person to avoid
risk of injury to the user.
• While using the appliance, do
not cover the appliance's air
grilles. Ensure that there is no
hair or other residue obstructing
the grille on the back of the
appliance.
• This appliance has a safety
thermostat. If the appliance
overheats, it will turn off auto-
matically then alternately blow
hot and cold air. If necessary,
turn the appliance off by
pushing the switch to the OFF
position. Unplug and allow to
cool for 10 minutes.
BEFORE
using the appliance again,
ensure that there is no hair or
anything else obstructing the
air grille on the back. Plug it in
and turn it on. If it overheats
again, stop using immediately;
turn it off and unplug it. Return
the appliance to the BaByliss
Service centre.
• Do not leave the appliance
unattended while it is plugged
in or in use.
• Avoid contact with the appli-
ance's hot surfaces, in particular,
with ears, eyes, face and
neck.
• If the appliance is used on, by
or near children or persons with
disabilities, supervision or
assistance is recommended.
• Allow the appliance to cool
before storing.
• After use, do not wind the
cord around the appliance as
this may damage it. Instead,
roll the cord up loosely and let
it hang by the side of the
appliance.
