IONIC TECHNOLOGY
Many aspects of modern living, including air conditioning, contact with
man-made fibres and air pollution, even brushing and towel drying hair
contributes to a build-up of static charge in the hair leading to the
scales on the cuticles to push each other apart. As a result the surface
of the cuticle itself becomes rough and causes hair to appear dull and
is difficult to style.
Ionic technology emits a stream of Ions, which act to neutralise static
charge, smoothing the scales on the hair cuticle for shiny, conditioned
and manageable hair.
OPERATING INSTUCTIONS
•
For optimum results, rough dry hair to remove the excess moisture
until it is around 80% dry.
•
Ensure the hair is combed through to remove tangles prior to styling.
•
Select the required heat/speed setting using the slide switch. Select
setting ‘I’ for a lower heat, ideal for shorter, finer hair. Select setting
‘II’ for a higher heat which is more suitable for longer or thicker hair.
•
ALWAYS ensure to keep hair away from the rear filter to prevent it
being sucked into the fan as this may cause the styler to overheat.
•
Separate hair into manageable sections.
•
To create volume at the roots, take a section of hair and use the brush
to lift the hair at the roots, moving the styler slowly down through the
hair.
•
For a smooth straight look, slowly brush down the hair length keeping
the hair as taut as possible.
•
To create movement or shape at the ends of the hair, use the brush
to curl hair inwards or outwards.
•
To set the style, move the slide switch to the cool position.
•
Repeat as necessary on all sections of the hair.
•
After use, switch off and unplug the appliance. Allow to cool before
storing away.
