Replaceable brushes are easy to remove and replace and guarantee long
trimmer life.
The BAB762C carbon brushes must be inspected and replaced periodically to
ensure maximum motor performance and to prolong the life expectancy of the
motor. Before inspecting or replacing the motor brushes, always unplug the
trimmer from the electric power source to avoid electric shock.
To remove the slotted brush cap, unscrew it with a screwdriver or a dime.
Remove the brush assembly and check the length of the square section of
the brush. When the square section of the brush has been reduced to a length
less than 1mm, the brush must be replaced to prevent possible damage to the
motor armature.
Always replace both side brushes (left and right) at the same time, even if only
one brush is below the required length. When reinstalling the brushes, make
sure that the copper plate plug is in the slot and press down to seat in place.
Reassemble the slotted brush cap and tighten down into place.

combination. But did you know that an electrical appliance
is still electrically live even if the switch is off? If the plug
is in, the power is on. So when you are not using your
appliances, keep them unplugged.
