Notes
• Never refreeze breast milk. Any unused milk should be discarded.
• Do not mix defrosted breast milk with fresh breast milk.
• Only fresh breast milk should be frozen.
• It is recommended to slowly defrost breast milk. For that purpose frozen breast milk should
be left in the fridge for reaching a liquid form.
• For making breast milk warm in it recommended to use hot water bath the temperature of
which should not exceed 50
˚
C.
• In order to preserve the nutritive value breast milk should not be boiled, warmed up directly
on a gas burner or in a microwave!
• The temperature of the milk ready for serving should be the temperature of human body,
so not higher than 37

C.
