Install hinge 

1. 

Insert a #10 x 1½” screw through the second hole 
(B) in the tube and into the hole on the side of the 
cover as shown, and install but do not tighten. 

2. 

Lift the tube so it is horizontal, and parallel with 
the top of the cover. Drill a 1/8” hole (C) into the 
side of the cover, through the hole in the tube  

3. 

Install another #10 x 1½” screw and tighten. 
Tighten first screw then drill the two remaining 
holes (A, D) into the side of the cover using the 
holes in the tube for locating. 

4. 

Install two more #10 x 1½” screws and tighten. 

5. 

Repeat this installation on the other side of the cover. 

6. 

Adjust the position of the cover on the spa to ensure that it is 
square, and centered on the spa. 

7. 

Attach the main assembly to the spa side by sliding assembly 
into closed position and raising it until it is horizontal with the 
bottom of the spa cover as shown. 

8. 

Install one #10 x 1½” screw in hole as shown and tighten. 

9. 

Install five remaining #10 x 1½” screws. 

10. 

Repeat procedure on opposite side.
