or wired incorrectly.

Motor burned out.
Test the contacts and correct the
wiring.
Have electrician check breaker or
fuses.
Have motor repaired or replaced.
Excessive Blade
Breakage
Incorrect blade tension.
Incorrect speed or feed.
Blade rubs on wheel flange.
Teeth too coarse for material.
Teeth in contact with the material
before the saw is started.
Misaligned guides.
Cracking of blade weld.
Adjust to where blade just does
not slip on wheel.
Consult machine chart or
handbook.
Adjust the wheel alignment.
Contact Baileigh Industrial for
recommended blade type.
Contact material after blade has
been started.
Adjust as necessary.
Make longer annealing cycle
Teeth Ripping From
Blade
Tooth too coarse for work.
Too heavy feed / too slow feed.
Gullets loading with chips and
debris.
Use a fine tooth blade.
Increase feed pressure and / or
speed.
Use coarser tooth blade or brush
to remove chips and debris.
Premature Blade
Dulling
Teeth too coarse.
Too much speed.
Use a finer tooth blade.
Try next slower speed.
