Checking Pulley
1. Make sure the pulleys are aligned to reduce side wear on the belts.
2. Place a straight edge on the edge of the motor pulley (A) and the
upper shaft pulley (B). The gap between the straight edge and the
belt should be the same from top to bottom.
Adjusting Motor Mount
1. If the motor pulley and shaft pulley are not in-line loosen
screw (B).
2. Move the motor to left and right until adjusted to proper
position and tighten the screw again.
Adjusting Belt Tension
1. Use the two jack bolts (A) to adjust the belt tension by
adjusting the upper and lower nuts to apply or remove
pressure to the belt.
2. Push the center of each belt. When properly tensioned the
amount of deflection should be approximately 0.75”
(19mm).
3. When proper belt tension is achieved, tighten the nuts to
hold the motor plate in position.
