Table Roller Adjusting
To reduce friction between stock and table, two table
rollers must be assembled on machine. Adjustments
will be needed when planning with different type of
wood. The table rollers on the planer are set for
average planning and are parallel to the table surface.
1. To adjust, disconnect the machine from the power
source.
2. Place a straight edge across two rollers.
3. Loosen nut (A) and adjust screw (B) under the
table.
4. To adjusted the roller on the both sides. Used the
control lever you can let rollers upward or downward from the table.
Note: Make sure both roller are at the same level. The rollers should be set high
when planning rough wood. Rollers should be adjusted low when planning smooth wood.
Constructing Gauge Block
In order to check and adjust the height of the chipbreaker, infeed and outfeed rolls and adjust
the cutterhead parallel to the table, you will need a homemade gauge block made of hard wood.
This gauge block can be easily constructed by following the dimensions in the figure.
