CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT
Never make unnecessary adjustments. The manufacturer recommended
settings are correct for most applications. You will need a tachometer to make
some of the adjustments. This should only be performed by a trained
mechanic.
1. Warm up the engine for about 5-10 minutes.
2. Connect the tachometer, and adjust the throttle idle speed
(standard value is 1700 RPM).
3. Turn the Idle screw counter-clockwise slowly and observe the RPM of the
engine, and stop adjusting as the RPM of engine reaches correct speed.
