Powering on & off
1. Power on:
Press and hold the
M
button for about 3 seconds; the screen will start up and the
camera will enter standby mode
2. Power off:
While the camera is in an idle state, press and hold the
M
button for 3 seconds to turn
the camera off
3. Automatic power off:
When the camera has been idle, it will switch off automatically to save power.
The idle time can be set to your preference in the settings menu
4. Power off due to low battery:
If the camera’s battery power has dropped to extremely low levels,
the icon will appear on the LCD screen and you will have to recharge the battery
Mode selection
The camera is equipped with two modes: Video
and Photo
. After turning on the camera,
quick press the
M
button to select the appropriate mode for your intended use
1. Video mode:
Record videos
2. Photo mode:
Take photos
These modes can be modified in the Action Camera’s menu to the following choices:
Video
Slow Motion
Loop
(Time) Lapse
Photo
Auto
Burst
Timer
TIP: If you have changed some settings and find that the camera is not working as it should, you can
reset the camera to its original factory settings
