OPERATING CYCLE
Carry out the following checks before starting the operating cycle:
-
Ensure that all safety devices and guards (supply duct, exhaust duct and crankcase) are correctly
in place and in good condition. If the guards are faulty or damaged, replace them immediately.
-
Check that the cardan shaft is inserted correctly and that the guards are intact;
After making the connections to the tractor and the necessary adjustments, proceed as follows:
Set the tractor's "power take-off start" lever to 540 rpm.
Apply the tractor's handbrake and move close to the work station.
Insert the branches to be shredded. The material, inserted into the hopper, is pulled in by a
combination of the falling and rotating effect of the knives installed on the rotor. Always insert a
sufficient amount of material so that the loading duct is not obstructed.
In the event that the shredder becomes jammed, act on the emergency loosening lever of the drive
belts.
Please note that the machine must only be used by one person.
ATTENTION!
Maintain a sufficient safety distance when chopping long branches that come
out of the machine: they could suddenly be thrown off.
ATTENTION!
NEVER
leave the machine unattended during operation.
