4. Implementation and Installation
Attention for handling Processor BIS C-489 and installing environment are explained in this chapter.
4.1 Installation
4.1.1 Mounting
When installing processor BIS C-489 , pay close attention to the following points.

(1) Tightening torque for terminal screws on units, and fixing screws
Refer to the tightening torque in the following table to tighten terminal screws on units and fixing screws.

4.1.2 Positioning
The following positions are not appropriate for installing processor BIS C-489.
a. Where operating temperature exceeds the range of 0...55 degrees C.
b. Where temperature varies extremely with dew condensation.
c. Where relative humidity exceeds the range of 5...95%
d. Where has corrosive gas, inflammable gas.
e. Where conveys vibration or shock directly.
f. Where water, oil or chemical is splashed.
This Controller should be installed in the conductive control cabinet since it is an open machine
such as a Melsec PLC.This Processor is conformed to EMC directive and has CE marking,
the test has been carried out processor had been installed in borad.

Attentions
In installing the processor in a panel, pay close attention to the following points.
*Keep adequate ventilation space around the processor.
*Processor should be kept apart from radiate heating machine heater, trance, resistor etc. .

*Installing a fan or cooler is recommended in the case of temperature is higher than 55 degrees C.
