Rechargeable batteries
Ideal storage of a rechargeable battery:
– SOC (state of charge): < 50 % (optimal ≤ 30 %)
– Humidity: < 70 %
– Temperature: < 25 °C
Storage temperature:
– 0°…25°C:
Storage > 6 months possible, cells should be checked
every 6 months and recharged if necessary.
– In the limit range (−20°C/+35°C):
Storage < 6 months, otherwise the cell will no longer
have the capacity as when new.
– Storage temperatures up to 45 °C are possible for a
short time (< 1 month).
