1. General

instructions

Never

 run the unit without liquid!

Do not

put parts to be cleaned into the tank with aggressive soiling such as acids,

chloride ions or similar substances!

Do not

fill the stainless steel oscillating tanks with aggressive cleaning agents such as

acids or chemicals which contain or release chloride ions (some disinfectants,
dish-washing detergents, household cleaners, saline solutions).

Do not

fill the stainless steel oscillating tanks with combustible liquids.

Use aggressive cleaning agents

only

in inset beakers or non-perforated plastic insert

tanks.

Place

nothing

on the bottom of the oscillating tank; use

SONOREX

accessories!

Do not

put your hand into the oscillating liquid!

The ultrasonic energy in the oscillating tank heats up the cleaning liquid without
additional heating! Check the temperature regularly when cleaning temperature-
sensitive parts.

2.

Safety instructions to be carefully observed!

After removing the packing, check the unit's casing and control elements for any signs
of damage. In such case, do not connect the unit to the electrical power supply, but
report the damage immediately and in writing to the carrier and your supplier.
Save the original packing.

Place the unit in a horizontal position on a dry, solid base.

Plug the unit to grounded sockets only.

Keep the unit's surface and control elements clean and dry!

Replace defective parts only with original

SONOREX

 parts!

Do not clean any living beings (plants and animals) in the unit!

If preheating of the cleaning liquid is required, it is necessary to stir it at least every
30 minutes or switch on ultrasound for 5 minutes (retardation of boiling).

Ultrasonic cleaning produces cavitation noise. If working within distances of 2 meters
from the unit for longer periods of time, be sure to wear ear plugs to avoid damage to
your hearing!

Do not move or carry units filled with liquid.
