FOR THE BANDIT 240 DB SECURITY FOGGING UNIT
The
BANDIT 240 DB
range of security fogging systems are specifically designed to provide high reliability and
simple, quick and minimal maintenance requirements. The
Control Box
installed with each
BANDIT
is a
device which allows all main test activities to be carried out from a single location, remote from the
BANDIT
.
These are the functions of the item:
Routine service consists of the procedures listed below.

Recommended ANNUALY if opportunity arises i.e. if already on site servicing intruder alarm.

time required 15 – 20 minutes)
Carry out a 1 second test fog ejection, by operating the appropriate button on the
Control Box
.
Ensure there is sufficient remaining fluid in the
HY-3 Cylinder Pack
, by viewing the real-time LED
indication, shown on the
Control Box
. If the level indicates less than ~25%, or it is in the red sector,
the
HY-3 Cylinder Pack
should be replaced at the earliest opportunity in order to ensure maximum
operational capacity.
If the front cover appears to be very dusty then gently brush or vacuum the textile of the
BANDIT
to
ensure adequate air circulation is maintained.
Check all cable runs (particularly if rodents are believed to be present) including those to any
peripheral devices connected directly to the Bandit i.e. dedicated PIR’s, PA buttons and Warning
Announcers.
