Port Trigger
Port Triggering allows the Router to monitor outgoing data for specific port numbers.
The Router remembers the IP address of the computer that sends the matching data,
so that when the requested data returns through the Router, the data is pulled back
to the proper computer according to the IP address and port mapping rules.
To add a new Port Triggering rule:
1.
Name
: Enter an application name for this port triggering rule.
2.
Protocol
: Click on
and select a protocol from the drop-down list, like
TCP+UDP

ther.
3.
Triggered Range
: Enter the
Start Port
and
End Port
for the triggered port
number range of the Internet application (Please check its documentation to
obtain the port number(s) needed).
4.
Forwarded Range
: Enter the
Start Port
and
End Port
for the forwarded port
number range of the Internet application Please check its documentation to
obtain the port number(s) needed).
