General operation
Check the product, its interconnection cord and extension cord and plug as well as
accessories for damage before each use. Do not use the product if it is damaged or
shows wear.
1.
Double check that accessories or cutting device are properly fixed.
2. Push the product forward by its handle. Keep the handle dry to ensure safe support.
3. Ensure that the air vents are always unobstructed and clear. Clean them if necessary
with a soft brush. Blocked air vents may lead to overheating and damage the product.
4.
Switch the product off immediately if you are disturbed while working by other people
entering the working area. Always let the product come to complete stop before
averting.
5. Do not overwork yourself. Take regular breaks to ensure you can concentrate on
the work and have full control over the product.
Switching on/off
NOTE:
The product can only be started with pressing the lock-off button (14)
first followed by squeezing the start lever (16). Reverse operation cannot start
the product.
NOTE:
The cutting device (17) will continue to rotate for a short period after
the product has been switched off.
1. Ensure the start lever (16) is
released.
2.
Press the lock-off button (14)
and hold it in position (Fig. 13,
step 1).
3. Squeeze the start lever (16) to-
wards the handle (1) to switch
the product on (Fig. 10, step 2).
Hold the start lever (16) in posi-
tion during operation.
4. Release the start lever (16) to
switch the product off.
