6 Adjusting the display brightness
In SDL operation, the brightness of the display can be configured using the Control Center on the connected B&R
Industrial PC. Controlling brightness in DVI operation is only possible using the two brightness controls provided
on the SDL / DVI receiver.
6.1 Adjusting in SDL mode
1. Open the
Control Center
in the Control Panel.
2. Select the
Display
tab.
3. Select the Automation Panel from the list.
4. Set the desired brightness using the slider control.

Information:
Changes to these settings are displayed online but are only noted by the system (and applied during
the next restart) if the Control Center is closed with
OK
.
The configured brightness depends on the value configured in BIOS, i.e. until Windows is booted, the
value set in BIOS is used. The value set in BIOS is only applied the first time the Control Center is
opened.
6.2 Adjusting in DVI mode
1. Set the brightness using the two brightness buttons on the SDL / DVI receiver.
