2.5.5 USB interfaces
The PP500 features a USB 2.0 (Universal Serial Bus) host controller with multiple USB interfaces, 2 of which are
accessible externally for the user. PP500 devices with a display size of 10.4", 12.1" or 15" are also equipped with
a USB interface on the front of the device.
Warning!
Peripheral USB devices can be connected to the USB interfaces on this device. Due to the large number
of USB devices available on the market, B&R cannot guarantee their performance. All USB devices
provided by B&R are guaranteed to function properly.
Caution!
Because this interface is designed according to general PC specifications, extreme care should be
exercised with regard to EMC, cable routing, etc.
