Assembly and setting up
6.1 Requirements for the assembly site
•
The assembly surface must be level and horizontal.
•
The instrument must not be exposed to flowing water or other fluids.
•
The instrument must not be exposed to heat or direct sunlight.
•
The instrument must not be able to fall from the workbench..
6.2 Setting up the device

Damage to optical measuring instruments!
Grinding dust and water spray may damage measuring
instruments.
•
Do not set up the manual grinding wheel near optical
measuring instruments.
Personnel: Specialized personnel
Set up the instrument (Fig. 9) on the intended assembly site.

6.3 Insert water collection container
Personnel: Specialized personnel
Slightly lift the instrument on the side nearest to the operator (Fig. 10/1) to slide
the water collection container (Fig. 10/2) beneath it.
