Instead of the usernames and passwords that are used to access the Bandura Cyber TIG GUI,
the fixed Maintenance Users are used to log in to the Maintenance Mode Console. There are
three Maintenance Users as followed:
● audit_admin - used to clear log files
● crypto_admin - used to reset cryptographic keys
● security_admin - reset account passwords and the Administration Interface
These accounts have the default password admin. This password may be changed from the
Maintenance Users page in the Bandura Cyber TIG GUI.
The administrator will log in to the maintenance mode with the following prompts. In this case,
the security_admin user was used to login. The user will be informed if an incorrect
username/password combination is entered.
If the Bandura Cyber TIG is not already in Maintenance Mode, you will see the following menu:
1.
Enter Maintenance Mode:
This will bring the Bandura Cyber TIG into Maintenance
Mode and enable the other functionality of the Maintenance Mode Console. The user
must answer “yes” to a confirmation prompt/

Display Admin Interface Settings:
This will display all current admin interface settings,
including the IP address assigned to the Bandura Cyber TIG.
3.
Logout:
This will log the user out of the Maintenance Mode console.
If the Bandura Cyber TIG is in Maintenance Mode, the menu that appears will depend on the
user account that logs in.
Security Admin
1.
Reset Admin Account
: This will reset the "admin" account for the Bandura Cyber TIG
GUI to the defaults listed in the Accounts section. This option is useful if the password
for the admin account has been forgotten. This includes resetting the password, login
day and time restrictions, and login source restrictions. The user must answer "yes" to a
confirmation prompt after selecting this option.
2.
Reset Administration Interface:
This will bring reset the settings for the administration
interface on the Bandura Cyber TIG to the defaults listed in the Admin Interface and
HTTP Settings sections. This is useful in the event of a misconfiguration of the admin
interface IP addressing. This includes resetting the IP address, HTTPS access
