3.5.1.4 Delete User
You can delete a Bandura Cyber TIG administrator by clicking the
Delete
icon shown in the
actions list.
A user account must be disabled before it can be deleted. When an account is disabled, even if
the correct password is entered, the user will not be able to login.
If you set the
Minimum Disabled Duration
parameter to a number greater than zero (found in
General Settings), then you cannot delete an account until it has been disabled for that amount
of time.
If you keep an account in a disabled state, you will retain easy access to audit information for
that account.
3.5.2 Maintenance Users
Maintenance User
accounts are used when the Bandura Cyber TIG is in
System Maintenance
Mode
. The Bandura Cyber TIG will enter Maintenance mode if it fails a self test, or if you
manually select this mode. Your custom administrator user accounts are disabled in
Maintenance Mode.
There are three Maintenance Mode accounts:
● audit_admin:
clear log files
● crypto_admin:
reset public key certificates
● security_admin:
reset account passwords and security limits
These accounts have the default password
admin
. Maintenance Mode is only accessible from
the console interface of the Bandura Cyber TIG.
