The  only  way  to  create  a  connection  from  a  Host  and  a  reader  is  the 

Slave  mode. 

The  Host  (PC, 

BaracodaManager, …) creates the connection onto the scanner. 

The 

MASTER mode

 is not available for this product.

TagRunners  has  three  (3)  reading  modes.  These  modes  can  be  changed  with  the  BaracodaManager  software 
(v3.35 min). 

Trigger mode (default setting) 

Simply press the trigger when you want to read a RFID Tag. 

Autoscan mode  

This mode enables to read continuously. In Autoscan mode, the RFID antenna is continuously on. 

Smart Autoscan mode  

For  a  battery  power  consumption  optimisation  issue,  in  this  mode  the  RFID  antenna  is  not  always  activated, 
and the TagRunners reads by intermitent. 
 

Option:

 TagRunners  allows to activate the option “No duplicate scans” order to not scan twice in the same 

RFID Tag. By default, this option is disabled, but can be changed with the BaracodaManager software (v3.35 

min).
