G. CLOSED HOOD COOKING:
WARNING: DO NOT USE THE BARBEQUE ON HIGH SETTING WITH THE HOOD CLOSED
•
The retractable hood adds a new cooking dimension to your barbeque by allowing closed hood
cooking conditions creating an ‘oven’ environment.
•
The ‘oven’ environment will not only enhance the cooking and flavours of normal barbeque
cooking but also allow roasting of foods such as whole chickens, joints of meat, etc.
•
Frequent lifting of the hood should be avoided as this will extend the cooking time and may not
create the desired cooking effect.
•
Maximium temperature for closed hood cooking is 250°C. If the temperature on the thermometer
exceeds 250°C, then turn one or more burners to “
LOW”
or “
OFF”
.
