AC CONNECTION
Use the AC polarized line cord for operation on
AC power. Insert the AC plug into any
convenient 120V 60Hz household outlet.
NOTE:
The AC plug supplied with the unit is
polarized to help minimize the possibility of
electric shock. If the AC plug does not fit into a
nonpolarized AC outlet, do not file or cut the
wide blade. It is the user’s responsibility to
have an electrician replace the obsolete outlet.

Two (2) “AAA” size batteries can also be used to
power and/or to provide a backup for the clock and
alarm time for this unit as follows:
1. Open the battery door by removing the screw
and then sliding the battery door off in the
direction of the “OPEN” arrow.
2. Insert two (2) “AAA” batteries as shown. Alkaline
batteries are recommended for the longest
playing time.
3. Replace the battery door and screw back on
the compartment.
NOTE:
• The batteries are used to back-up the clock and
alarm times when the AC adapter is disconnected
or there is a power failure.
