Please note the following important points regarding the
Auto Acquire
mode:
•
If
In Auto Acquire
is
ON
and a valid input is selected that does
not
have a saved
input configuration file associated with it, the system attempts to acquire the
source, save an input configuration file, and smoothly transition to the new source.
Two different error messages can be displayed when
In Auto Acquire
is
ON
:
~
Mismatch
: The ACS-2048 cannot match to any saved input
configuration, or to any format in the input format table.
~
Invalid Signal
: No valid input signal is detected.
•
If
In Auto Acquire
is
OFF
and a valid input is selected with a saved input
configuration file, the system compares the library file to the input’s timing.
~
If the timings match, the system transitions to the input.
~
If the timings do not match, the system displays black and the “
Invalid
Signal
” message appears.
Three error messages can be displayed when
In Auto Acquire
is
OFF
:
~
Mismatch
: The ACS-2048 cannot match to any saved input
configuration, or to any format in the input format table.
~
Invalid Signal
: No valid input signal is detected. In this situation, the
video output will be black.
~
No Saved File
: A configuration file has not been saved for the input.
•
When a new (unsaved) input is selected, the system performs one of three “auto
acquire” sequences, depending on the current system condition:
~
Condition 1
: No source is currently selected, and the output is black.
This condition occurs after a factory reset.
•
When you select a new source, the system transitions to the
source — once the “auto acquire” is complete.

The input configuration file will only be saved if the "

" mode is
ON
in the
User Preference Menu
.
