7. Removing the CRT neck components
- Loosen the gear clamp (A) of the stigmator
magnets unit.
- Loosen the gear clamp (C) of the deflection unit.
- Slide the stigmator off from the end of the CRT.
- Slide the mu-metal screening (B) off the end of
the CRT.
- Slide the deflection unit off from the end of the
CRT.
- Remove picture tube from projector.
6. Removing the Picture tube
- Disconnect the temperature sensor (B) on top
of the picture tube heatsink by removing
fixation screw.
- Support the CRT unit by hand.
- Remove the two fixation bolts (A), holding the
CRT unit to main frame.
- To remove the picture tube, tilt the CRT a little
downwards and pull the CRT face out of the
clips (B), located at the bottom of the main
frame.
