Topping up the cooling liquid reservoir

The procedure below may only be performed by “quali

ed service technicians”.

All actions performed on the Liquid Cooling Circuit should occur in normal ambient conditions
(approximately 25 °C). The projector should have suf
fi
ciently cooled down (minimum 2 hours).

:
Only use Barco approved cooling liquid to re
fi
ll the liquid cooling circuit of the projector. Neglect-
ing this may lead to irreversible damage of the projector.

Hazardous product: Blue antifreeze diluted 1,2 ethanediol (1/3 ethanediol – 2/3 Demi water).
Not for household use. Keep out of reach of children. Harmful by oral intake. Avoid exposure to pregnant
women. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid inhalation of the noxious fumes.

AUTION

Tighten the

ller cap suf
fi
ciently to avoid cooling liquid leakage. Tighten to a torque of 7 Nm.
Handling the cooling liquid
•
Avoid contact of the liquid with Eyes, Skin and Clothing.
•
Avoid inhaling noxious fumes.
•
Conserve the product in the original package and in a well ventilated room.
Personal protection rules
•
Handle the cooling liquid in a well ventilated room.
•
Under no circumstances eat, drink and smoke while handling the liquid.
•
Wear gloves (Butyl rubber, PVC....) and Goggles.
•
Wear suitable protection clothing.

How to top up the cooling liquid?
1. Remove the left projector cover. See "Removal of the left cover", page 90.
2. Open the reservoir. Remove the
fi
ller cap by turning it anti clockwise.
3. Fill the reservoir with cooling liquid until the level is equal with the
Max
indication on the reservoir.
4. Close the reservoir again. Install the
fi
ller cap by turning it clockwise.
