Ambient Light Compensation
Low Pass Filter
This function is not available in DVI mode
The display electronics provide 4 different low-pass filters to filter
possible high-frequent distortion from an
analog
video signal.
Select a different filter in case the image contains high-frequent noise
or distortion. Select the filter that gives the best result.
Readjustment of sample phase is necessary after selection of a
different filter.

Min ALC
Contains two functions to set the mini-
mum point of the ALC control system:
Min Ambient Light
: Enter the value (in
Lux) of the darkest possible ambient light
condition you are likely to work in.
Min Luminance
: Enter the value (in %)
that corresponds to the display luminance
you wish to get when the ambient light is
at the level you have entered for Min
Ambient Light.
Max ALC
Contains two functions to set the maxi-
mum point of the ALC control system:
Max Ambient Light
: Enter the value (in
Lux) of the brightest possible ambient
light condition you are likely to work in.
Max Luminance
: Enter the value (in %)
that corresponds to the display luminance
you wish to get when the ambient light is
at the level you have entered for Max
Ambient Light.
