II. Installing of the new picture tube.
A. Preparation of the new picture tube.
1. Remove the picture tube ground unit from the defective picture tube and mount it on the new picture tube, as
illustrated in pictures above.
B. Mounting the components on the neck of the picture tube.
2. Put the picture tube on its place in the projector and consecutively slide the deflection unit, mu-metal screening
on the neck of the picture tube. Push the deflection unit fully against the tube and slide the mu-metal below the
deflection unit gear ring. Secure the position of the unit by tightening the gear clamp screw (see pictures on
page 4).
3. Slide the Stigmator unit on the neck of the picture tube. Secure the position of the unit by tightening the gear
clamp screw (see pictures on page 4).
C. Installing picture tube in main frame

4. Tilt the picture tube a little downwards and place it correctly on its two clips. Push the bottom of the tube face
into the two clips.
5. Tilt up the picture tube until the face fits the picture tube block and secure the postion with two bolts.
6. Reinstall the temperature sensor on top of the picture tube heatsink.
D. Electrical connection

7. Plug in the EHT lead of the installed picture tube on the EHT splitter and lock the connector.
8. Push the CRT Socket module on the picture tube.
9. Secure the gear clamp of the Picture tube drive module.
10. Reconnect the CRT ground plug.
11. Reconnect the ground connection of the mu_metal sreening.
