GULLWING DOOR OPERATION- 240 & 260
CAUTION
!
The function of opening the Gullwing Door is necessary in order to
access areas of the power package, swing drive assembly and other
components. The following steps will explain this process. The open
Gullwing Door is also a work platform.
1 OPENING THE GULLWING DOOR (Fig-1)
Remove debris and make sure area in the
“open zone” of the Gullwing Door is clear
of obstructions.
Loose electrical wires and
hydraulic hoses could “snag” on opening door.

Turn on Master Disconnect Switch.

Open Front Access Door. (Fig-1)
Unlock Gullwing Door Latch. (Fig-2)
Latch is shown in
un-locked position
Lock Gullwing Door Latch (Fig-2).
Once the Gullwing
Door is shut, lock the latch and close the front access
door.

Operate the Gullwing Door.
Toggle and hold the
Shroud Door switch DOWN to open the Gullwing Door.
Toggle and hold the Shroud Door switch UP to close the
Gullwing Door.

If electrical power is lost to the machine, the hydraulic pump that
actuates the Gullwing Door cylinder may be manually operated.

1.2 Manual Operation
Activate the spools.
Push Gullwing Door Pin DOWN to close
door. Pull Gullwing Door Pin UP to close door.
Perform steps 1 & 2 from above.
Locate extension bar an insert into/on the Manual Pump
Actuator. (Fig-4)
Hold Pins in place, p
ump extension bar to open or close the
Gullwing Door.
Perform step 5 from above.
