Numbers and Symbols
A keyboard that displays the numbers and some symbols. Switch to this keyboard from the
lowercase or uppercase keyboard by tapping 123. Switch to it from the Additional Symbols
keyboard by tapping 123.

A keyboard that displays the remaining symbols. Switch to this keyboard from the lowercase or
uppercase keyboard by tapping 123 and then #+=. From the Numbers and Symbols keyboard, tap

Number Pad
For data entry in a field that can only contain numbers, your
NOOK
displays a number pad:
D-pad
The D-pad (directional pad) control is displayed when you add highlights or annotations. It lets
you move the cursor in all four directions in the text, so you can choose start and end points for
highlights. It is also used to highlight a word to look up.
