Interlock System
The interlock system is a safety system to
prevent injury or accident caused by operator
inattentiveness using combined control with
multiple switches and sensors.
The engine stop switch is activated by the seat
switch, traveling pedal neutral switch, and
brake pedal switch, and is linked with the fuel
stop switch.
Before Starting the Engine:
An operator is sitting on the seat.
Apply the parking brake.
The traveling pedal (forward/reverse
pedal) is not pressed.
To travel:
An operator is sitting on the seat.
Release the parking brake.
The traveling pedal (forward/reverse
pedal) is pressed.
The engine will stop under any of the
following conditions:
The parking brake is applied, the
operating leaves the seat, the traveling
pedal (forward/reverse pedal) is
pressed.
The parking brake is released without
an operator sitting on the seat.

Confirming Operation of Interlock System
According to the interlock system operation
requirements, check the operation
requirement items (driver's seat, parking
brake, traveling pedal) one by one to make
sure that the interlock system is activated.
