HotTab – Installation in background
The HotTab setup is an MSI installer, it also supports the appropriate keys (including for a background
installation).

Check the installed HotTab version before you start installation of latest available version.
You can check the installed version:

In settings under category apps or installed programs

In HotTab tool under category settings
If installed version is older than uninstall first before you start installation.

For example, Navigate to the installation directory and from there execute the installation using
msiexec (Enter key).

After a while CMD will be ready for use (the Hottab application is also installed).
No message is displayed after successful installation.
If the customer wants to make sure that everything ran smoothly, he has to query the
variable ERRORLEVEL in the batch file.
