If the device is to remain unused for a longer period of time:
remove the device's plug from its socket;
remove all food from inside the refrigerator;
wash the inside and exterior of the refrigerator as described above;
wipe the device with clean water and dry thoroughly;
leave the door open for a time to allow the device to dry.
Cleaning the compressor

To ensure the device's long-term functioning, clean the compressor regularly.
NOTE!
A dirty compressor has a negative effect on the device's functioning and in-
creases energy use!

Remove the device's plug from its socket before
cleaning.
o
Loosen the screws on the grid at the
back of the device and remove the grid.
The compressor is now accessible
o
Use a brush or vacuum to remove dust from
the compressor's surface.
o
After cleaning, replace the grid on the device.
ATTENTION! Danger of burns!
When in use, the compressor's surface can get very hot. Toa void burns, do not
touch the compressor's surface with bare hands.
6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance

Inspect the power cable regularly for damage. Never use the device if the cable is
damaged. If the power cable is damaged, have an authorised service center or
qualified electrician replace it.

In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer
service centre. Pay attention to the troubleshooting tips in pt. 7.
o
Only a qualified technician and using original spare parts and accessories should
carry out repairs and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the de-
vice yourself.
