6. Cleaning
CAUTION!
Disconnect the device from the power supply (unplug!) before
cleaning. Let the device cool down.
The device is not designed to be rinsed with running water.
Do not use a pressure washer to clean the device!
Be careful and do not let the water into the device.
CAUTION!
To avoid damaging of the non-stick coating in the inner pot and the surface of
the outer pot, never use harsh, scouring or abrasive cleaning agents, such as
steel wool or metal tools.

After the use, always clean all parts of the device.
o
Never clean the device and inner pot in the dishwasher.
o
Detach the inner lid, pulling it out of the pin at the lid,
o
Remove the inner pot from the external pot.
o
Clean the inner lid, inner pot and accessories (rice spoon, measuring cup and
burn proof pad) with warm water with mild cleaning agent, rinse the cleaned parts
with fresh water and wipe dry with a dry, soft cloth.

Clean the inside and the outside of the outer pot with a soft, damp cloth. Wipe it
dry afterwards.
CAUTION!
Rice grains or other particles may stick to the heating plate.
Always remove them to ensure reliable heat transfer from the heating plate to the
inner pot. To remove the cooked rice from the heating plate you may use a wooden
spatula. Afterwards dry and polish the surface of the heating plate to ensure proper
heat transfer between the heating plate and the bottom of the inner pot.
Cleaning tips
1. Prior to cleaning, fill the inner port with a glass of water with dish washing agent.
2. Place the inner pot in the rice cooker.
3. Press down the switch. The red “Cooking” indicator will come. Wait until water
boils.
