Steaming
•
The rice cooker may be also used for steaming vegetables, meat, and fish. Use the
included steaming insert for such purpose. The vegetables are particularly suitable
for steaming as they lose less nutrients in comparison to all other preparation
methods.
•
Pour moderate amount of water to the internal pot. The water amount depends on
type and amount of prepared food.
•
Put the prepared product to the steaming insert, place it in the internal pot and
close the lid.
CAUTION!
Do not exceed the steaming insert height while putting the prepared
food inside.
•
First connect the supply cable to the device, then to the earthed socket.
•
Start the device with use of
ON/OFF
switch and press the function switch down.
The
red
indicator light
“Kochen/Cooking“
comes on.
•
The lid should be closed during steaming. The device loses steam necessary for
cooking during opening. However, the steam losses may be reduced by adding
water.
HOT STEAM! Risk of scalding!
Do not touch or open the device during operation.
The released steam may cause scalding.
•
After finished steaming turn the device manually off by moving the function switch up
and switching the

.
•
Then disconnect the device from the socket (pull the plug).
•
