Safety thermostat
The device is equipped with the
safety thermostat (overheating protection
). If
the device is accidentally switched on with too little or no water and boils empty or
there is a lime and scale build-up inside, the device will switch off automatically.
Disconnect the device from the power supply (pull the plug!) and wait for cooling
down. If necessary, descale the device according to the instructions described
in the section “Descaling”. Refill the tank with drinking water and switch the
device on.
If overheating occurs again and the device does not function properly, please
contact the technical service or sales agent.
