5.2 Operation
Before the first use wash the device according to instructions in section
6
“Cleaning
and descaling”
.
Pour the desired amount of drinking water into the tank (up to the
“MAX“
indicator).
It is important that
the potable water
is always present in the tank during the device
operation. Do not fill the device with any non-potable liquids, like acids, lyes, oils,
nitrates, etc.!
NOTE!
To reduce heating time and save energy, the tank may be filled with hot water.
Time and energy are saved in such way!
Put the lid on the tank and rotate it clockwise
to close the tank (bayonet lock).
Make sure that the lid is equipped with a steam
release hole. With properly closed lid, this hole
should be aligned over the water level indicator.
HOT STEAM! Risk of burns!
During the operation avoid contact with this area of surface,
use protective gloves.
Connect the device to a single grounded socket. The green power control light will
come on.
Set required temperature in range from 30 °C to 100 °C with use of temperature
control knob.
Turn the device on using the ON/OFF switch.
The red heating indicator light will come on and will be lit during heating. As soon as
the water is heated to the set temperature, the red heating indicator light will go off.
If the temperature of water in the tank decreases by approx. 10 °C, the heating will
start again and the red heating indicator light will come on, and the water will be
heated again to the set temperature.
