6. Cleaning and care
WARNING!
Before cleaning, switch the device off via ON/OFF
switch and disconnect it from the power supply (pull
the plug out the socket!).
Never clean he device with any kind of pressure water jets!
Be careful and do not let the water into the device.
CAUTION!
Never use hot water for cleaning the device!
Never use aggressive or coarse cleaning agents such as scouring powder,
alcohol, solvents or other substances that could damage the device’s
surfaces.
Defrosting
•
Ice that forms inside the device should be defrosted from time to time.
CAUTION!
Never damage the coolant circulation. Do not use any sharp, pointed or
other mechanical objects to speed up defrosting.
•
For the device completely defrost (at least twice per year), disconnect it from its
power source by removing the plug from its socket and leave the doors open until
the ice completely melts.
•
To gather the water formed by thawing, place the proper containers at the bottom
of the device.
CAUTION!
Never use electric equipment such as hair dryers, heaters, etc. nor an open
flame to defrost the device.
