5.3 Operation
•
Wipe down the outside and the inside of the device with a soft cloth and warm water.
Remove the ice cube basket and clean it.
•
Connect the device to an earthed single wall outlet.
•
Select the size of the ice cubes by pressing
(S = small
; M = medium
;
L = large
). The preset setting stays active until you make a different selection.
The standard setting is M (medium).
•
If the room temperature exceeds 16° C, we recommen d selecting size S (small) or
M (medium) to prevent the ice cubes from sticking together.
•
Open the cover, remove the ice cube basket and fill water into the water container to
just below the marking.
•
Press
on the control panel to start the production process.
•
The water is pumped from the water tank to the water dish (approx. 40 sec.).
•
Ice cubes form on the 12 vaporizers (6 to 14 minutes).
WARNING! Danger of injury!
Do not touch the vaporizer during ice production
!
•
Make sure to check the water level at regular intervals during the operation of the ice
cube maker. If the water pump cannot inject any water, the ice cube maker shuts off
automatically and the indicator
lights up. In this case, press the button
and
fill up water up to the marking. Wait three minutes before the coolant in the
compressor has settled before starting the device again by pressing the button
once again.
•
The ice cube maker stops automatically, the indicator
lights up and indicates
that the ice cube basket is full.
NOTE!
For sanitary reasons, you should dispose of the ice cubes produced in the first
cycle. Do not use them for beverages or cooling food.
•
The ice cube maker goes into standby mode and starts producing new ice cubes
when the previous ones are taken out.
