6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance

Check the mains adapter and the mains lead from time to time to ensure they are not
damaged in any way. Never use the device if the lead or adapter is damaged. If the
mains adapter or the lead are damaged they must be replaced by a qualified
electrician.

In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer
service centre.
o
Only a qualified technician and using original spare parts and accessories should
carry out repairs and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the
device yourself.
7. Waste disposal
Discarding old devices
At the end of its service life the discarded device has to be disposed in
accordance with
the national regulations. It is advisable to contact a company which is specialized in
waste disposal, or just contact the local disposal service in
your community.
CAUTION
The user is obliged to recycle the battery included with the device, the device
itself and the power adapter. Remove the battery from the device and leave it at a
collection point. Disconnect the adapter from its power source and recycle the
device and adapter at an electronics collection point.
Do not dispose of the device together with household waste.
