– leave the solution in the jug for 20 minutes;
– pour the solution out;
– rinse the thermal pump jug and the pump tube thoroughly with clean
water several times;
– wipe the outside of the thermal pump jug with a soft cloth at the end;
– after cleaning, leave the thermal pump jug open to dry completely.

Descaling
NOTE!
To reduce limescale deposits, it is recommended to use filtered water!
CAUTION!
Injury hazard!
Use safety gloves and goggles during descaling!
Depending on the water hardness level in the place of usage, limescale may be
deposited inside of the appliance's elements during the operation of the coffee
machine. In order to maintain the appliance in the best possible condition, and to be
certain that every brewing process yields the best results, the appliance should be
descaled regularly.
The coffee machine is equipped with the
descale

activates after exceeding a certain level of limescale. When the descale indicator
light flashes, the device needs to be descaled, otherwise the proper operation and
quality of brewed coffee cannot be ensured.
If it is not possible to clean the coffee machine immediately, it is still possible to
brew several pots of coffee before descaling.
For descaling the appliance we recommend the tried and proven agent:
