5.2 Operation
Before the first use
Before the device operation clean the removed elements according to the instructions
in section
6 “Cleaning and descaling”
.
Install the water tray and fill it with water up to MAX mark (approx. 0.5 l).
Place the glass cylinder on the tray and then put the lid on the cylinder.
Connect the device to the single grounded socket.
Turn the device on with use of
ON/OFF
switch.
Green lamp will come on.
Turn the temperature controller knob to the highest position
“MAX”
. The orange
heating indicator light comes on until the preset temperature is reached.
Wait for the water to be heated, then set the temperature controller knob to
position
“0”
and turn the device off with use of
ON/OFF
switch. Wait for the
device to cool down.
After cooling down remove the glass cylinder and empty the tray. Rinse those
elements thoroughly with clean water.
HOT SURFACE! Risk of burns!
Some parts of the device become very hot during its
operation,
never
touch them with bare hands.
They must be removed in the protective gloves.
Heating of hot-dogs
Fill the tray with water again up to MAX mark.
CAUTION!
Periodically check the water level. Never
use the device without water!
Do not overfill the tray; pay attention to MAX mark.
Place the glass cylinder on the tray; put the basket into the cylinder. Place the
bottom mesh in the basket and finally fix the separating mesh to the basket.
