Assembling the desk lamp
Loosen the fastening screw of the bracket in the base, until the lamp base can be inserted into
the bracket. The opening in the lamp base must show to the fixing screw. Now, tighten the screw
in the base again.
The opening in the lamp base and the screw prevent the lamp from turning too widely and there-
fore tilting over.
Inserting or replacing the bulb
Before inserting or replacing the bulb, disconnect the desk lamp from the mains
voltage.
Remove the mains plug from the mains socket. It is not sufficient just to switch the
desk lamp on/off !
Proceed with caution. Danger of being burnt!
Before you replace a faulty bulb, wait until the faulty bulb and the desk lamp have
cooled down. This can take up to 30 minutes.
To replace a faulty bulb, turn it a little to the left (anticlockwise), it can then be removed from the
lamp socket.
A suitable GU10 bulb (max. 35W) is inserted into the the light fitting in such a way that both con-
nectors of the bulb fit exactly into the openings in the lamp socket.
The bulb is then locked by turning it to the right in the lamp socket.
