DCF reception on/off
In areas where reception of the DCF signal is not possible, automatic reception can also be
switched off. The clock then functions like a conventional quartz clock.
• While the setting for DCF reception flashes, press the + button to switch automatic DCF
reception (ON) or (OFF).
• Press the SET button to confirm.
If you have disabled DCF reception (OFF), the DCF signal will not be received at all.
If you want to set the time again automatically by radio signal, you need to manually
reactivate reception (ON).
• The hour indicator flashes in the time segment.
Time
If the weather station cannot receive the DCF signal, you may manually set the time. The clock
then functions like a normal quartz clock.
• While the hour indicator flashes, press the + button to set the hour.
• Press the SET button to confirm. The minute indicator flashes.
• Press the + button to set the minutes.
• Press the SET button to confirm. The weather station is in normal display mode again.
If DCF reception is enabled (ON) and you have manually set the time anyway, the
manually set time will be overwritten when the DCF signal is received.
