Routine Maintenance

Maintenance procedures described in this section should be per-
formed regularly at intervals indicated. Indicated frequencies are
minimums and should be increased with increased use of equip-
ment.

should be used as a guide for the frequency of maintenance. Such a
record will prove useful in helping ensure proper maintenance. Refer

Maintenance Manual
(764333-606) for replacement parts list.
Close attention should be paid to conditions in operating environ-
ment which will affect frequency of some maintenance procedures
indicated (e.g., mineral content of water supply, washer usage).

1. Do not operate equipment until you have become familiar with this
information.

required for safe and reliable
operation of this equipment.

trained service personnel
should make repairs or
adjustments to this equip-
ment. Maintenance done by
inexperienced, unqualified
personnel or installation of
unauthorized parts could
cause personal injury, invali-
date warranty or result in
costly damage. Contact
STERIS regarding service
options.
WARNING – ELECTRIC SHOCK
HAZARD:
•
Always set building electri-
cal-supply disconnect switch
and console master power
switch to OFF before per-
forming any preventive main-
tenance functions within the
compartments. Electrical
shock can cause serious
injury.

Disconnect all utilities to
washer before servicing. Do
not service washer unless all
utilities have been properly
locked out. Always follow
local occupational health
and safety regulations, as
well as electric and plumbing
codes.
