IMPORTANT
Before installing LUNA PLUS, it is necessary to set up a protected electrical socket
suitable to LUNA PLUS power (an earth protector magneto-thermic switch 16 A ld 30mA
is recommended).
For transport and handling seize the generator only by the handle, never pull its
electric cables (fig. 1).
This steam generator is not suitable for children, people with physical or mental handicaps or
inexperienced persons, unless they are instructed by a person who takes the responsibility
for their safety. Children must not play with the steam generator.
3.
OPENING OF PACKAGE
1.
Open the box containing LUNA PLUS, take out the instructions handbook and read
it carefully.
2.
Remove LUNA PLUS from the box, mount the two pieces of the cable support and
insert it deep into the special support holder (fig. 1) placed on the back side of the
generator.
3.
Fix the iron cable and hose to the hook (avoid twining).
4.
Put the iron on its rubber iron rest (fig. 1).
5.
For LUNA PLUS supplied with trolley: screw the trolley knob onto the proper
connection under the base of the machine (fig. 2).

CONNECTION AND STARTING
With LUNA PLUS switched off and disconnected plug:
1.
Open the plug (fig. 2), fill the water tank with water by using a funnel (approx. 1,1
litre), then close the plug again.
2.
Insert the plug into a 230 V 16 A socket.
3.
Turn on the electronic card and choose the functions to be activated (iron, boiler
etc.) and adjust the thermostat of the iron (fig. 3) on “cotton”.
WARNING:
the electronic card automatically performs a check of the software
installed.
If an error or fault is found,
the “safety” device blocks the electronic card and does
not allow normal functioning.
“SOFTWARE ERROR”
will be displayed. Contact the
Authorized Service Centre to update the software.
