For dry ironing it is possible to adjust the thermostat (fig. 3) on various positions
according to the type of fabric (check garment label). For steam ironing set the
thermostat on “cotton” or “
linen
”.
12.
GOOD FUNCTIONING
LUNA PLUS was designed for the ironing of domestic garments. It may be used
maximum 10 hrs. per week or 40 hrs. per month (subdivided in many times).
13.
COMPULSORY PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE
(To be carried out exclusively by Service Centres or by the manufacturer)
Compulsory maintenance is signalled by the icon
“GENERAL MAINTENANCE”
will
be displayed. Contact only your reseller, Authorized Service Centres or the
manufacturer in order to carry out the necessary maintenance. Once the check has
been completed, the authorized personnel will reset
the “general
maintenance”
icon
which is shown on the display.
It is also compulsory to change the steam hose and electric cables if damaged.
14.
ELECTRICAL RISKS
The following situations are considered dangerous for the operator:
1.
earth protector switch is activated upon turning on the LUNA PLUS;
2.
using LUNA PLUS during thunderstorms;
3.
using LUNA PLUS without proper protection for feet (without shoes) or with wet
feet;
4.
damaged electrical cables;
5.
when the power supply cable touches hot surfaces of the LUNA PLUS;
6.
iron overheating or loss of water from iron (fig. 3);
7.
cleaning or washing the iron by using water (fig. 3);
8.
loss of water from LUNA PLUS;
9.
filling of the water tank while LUNA PLUS is switched on.
