COMPULSORY
1.
Use only tap water.
2.
Empty the boiler once a week, making sure that boiler pressure is not over
0,5 BAR
(fig. 1: manometer).
To carry
out this operation, turn the
exhaust tap slowly
(fig. 1)
: we advise you to wear gauntlets against possible
burns.
N.B.
Carry out this operation only when the boiler is cold and the plug is
disconnected from the mains.
3.
Never leave hot iron on the ironing board.
4.
Connect PLUTONE to a suitable and protected outlet.
5.
After ironing is over, switch off PLUTONE and turn off the water tap; always
remember to turn on the water tap before switching on the machine again (for
PLUTONE connected to the aqueduct).
6.
Always keep children away from PLUTONE, both when it is on and off.
7.
Make sure that during cold season the tubes connecting PLUTONE to the water
supply do not freeze.
8.
Never add additives to water.
10.
IRONING
1.
Run the iron on garments, pressing the micro-switch
(fig. 3)
at regular intervals
and at the same time pressing the pedal for vacuum (heated and vacuum ironing
board is required). In order to dry the garments, we suggest to keep the foot on
the pedal for suction a bit longer. For a better ironing we suggest to adjust the
thermostat on “cotton” position
(fig. 2)
.
2.
For delicate garments we suggest to use an anti-sheen shoe.
3.
During ironing operation, always pay attention to the position of the cables: if they
twine or get in touch with the ironing board, they might cause short circuits
(fig.
2)
.
